William Daniel "Danny" McKinnish, 53, of 114 Eli Circle, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014 at his residence.

A native of Roanoke, VA, he was son of the late David Baxter and Glenda Gail Helton. He worked in Custodial Maintenance for Affinia.

Surviving are two sons Michael McKinnish and wife Jennifer of Shelby, Nathan McKinnish of Kings Mountain; daughter Carmen McKinnish of Amsterdam, NY; three brothers Fred McKinnish of Dallas, David Alan McKinnish of Gastonia, Terry Keith McKinnish of Marion; sister Patricia Ann Blakely of Stanley; grandchildren Joshua, Eli, Taylor and Kaleb McKinnish.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 3:00pm in the chapel of A Simple Service. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Samaritan's Purse.
