Obituary for Charles Russell "Charlie" Ingram

GASTONIA – Charlie Ingram, 82, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 9/3/2017. Charlie, an avid story-teller, was born in Belmont NC, graduated from West Mecklenburg High School in 1953, and retired from General Electric in 1993.
He was preceded in death by his true love of 64 years (Libby), his grandson Joshua Ingram, his parents Frank and Vernie Ingram and his siblings Becky Griffin, Sarah Heffner, Eddie Ingram, and Judy Ratliff. He is survived by his brother Allen Ingram, his closest friends Ronnie and Kay Pridmore, his children and their spouses: Rusty Ingram (Gloria), Dayna Winslow (Jeff), Leigh Ann King (Mike), Tracey Hughes (Kevin); his grandchildren and their spouses: Cassie Sylar (Josh), Kristen Caldwell, Kenny Winslow (Andrea), Marah Leverett, Charlie King (Ashley), Austin Joy, Matthew Joy, Scott Dunnett (Diana), Amber Lukowski (Brian), Chris Hughes, and Cory Hughes; his great-grandchildren Myles Ingram, Mary Ingram, Harrison Winslow, Sadie Sylar, Hayes Lukowski and Aiden Dunnett; his nieces who were like his own children: Leinani Ingram and Shane Hunter; along with many close friends and relatives.
