Gary Edmund Zapasnik, 65 of Gastonia, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.
He was born on December 7, 1952 in Hollywood Florida to the late Edmund Michael Zapasnik and Ruth Louella MacGowan Zapasnik.

Gary grew up in Hollywood, Florida and spent time living in New Jersey and North Carolina. He enlisted in the US Military in 1970.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Jones of Morrisville, PA, grandchildren, Phaedra Jones, Braden Jones, Donavan Jones and Devon Jones all of Morrisville, PA., sister, Linda Healy (Mike) of Raleigh, NC., a niece and two nephews.

Services for Gary will be private.
