Obituary for Joel Dewayne Sides
Dallas – Joel Dewayne Sides, 60, passed away April 27, 2017 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. He was born in Gaston County on April 24, 1957 to the late James David and Betty Reel Sides.
Joel was survived by his wife Scheffney Sides; son Christopher Sides (fiancée Brittany Brading); brother David Sides (fiancée Susan Long); step daughters Kelly and Angie Walker; grandchildren Avery Sides, Cameron Walker and Taylor Jenkins; nephew David Lee Sides.
He was employed by Carolina Piping Systems Inc.
A memorial service will be 4:00pm Sunday at A Simple Service, 451 Hospital Drive, Gastonia NC 28054
