Belmont – Chad Mitchell Barker, 45, passed away August 20, 2017 at home. He was preceded in death by his grandparents James Robert and Nina Bradley Whitesides. Chad is survived by his mother Brenda Barker; siblings Jeff Smith and his wife Kristine and Krissy Bruce; nephews Kalib Smith and uncle Darrell Whitesides. The family will receive friends Thursday 3-4:00pm at A Simple Service 451 Hospital Dr. Gastonia NC 28054.
